Manheim chiropractic front desk

We explain everything in advance.

Once I receive chiropractic care, do I have to go forever?
Is it addictive?

No. Chiropractic is no more addictive than a healthy diet. We encourage our patients to make their own choice about healthcare and not to rely on someone else. It’s up to you how long you’d like to receive adjustments.

Can chiropractic cure everything?

No, chiropractic does not cure anything. Chiropractic adjusts the spine for the health of the nervous system. If a patient has symptoms, we educate them so they know that symptoms are related to their health breaking down – and symptoms indicate only one problem. Their body is not healing the way it was created. This is what we focus on, for all healing comes from within.

Why might I have my newborn or young child adjusted?

Children are often adjusted to maintain the health of their spine. Childhood is one of the hardest times on the spine. From the birth process to learning to walk, falling, and injuries, childhood can be rough on a spine. Have your child adjusted to make sure that the spine is staying aligned during such an aggressive growth time.

Will you give me exercises to do at home to help with my care?

We do not do an exercise protocol. Instead, we encourage patients to keep a general exercise routine that they enjoy, are interested in or that they will stick with.

Do you accept insurance?

No, we don’t accept insurance. However, we work hard to make chiropractic care affordable for everyone. Our office fees are generally at or below co-pays. We are able to keep our fees lower because we don’t have to pay overhead for someone on staff to file with insurance companies. Honestly, we would rather deal with you directly instead of dealing with your insurance company.

If I have recently had back surgery, can I come for a chiropractic treatment?

Yes, you can. We have many patients who come to us to get adjusted. Because we use lighter force instrument adjusting, you’re a great candidate for chiropractic care at Horton Chiropractic.
